조두순 성폭행 사건
조두순 씨의 성폭행으로 많은 사람들이 분개하고 있다. 그런데, 조두순 씨는 술에 취했다 하더라도, 술에 취하지도 않은 멀쩡한 정신의 어른들에 의해 매년 35만 명 이상의 태아들이 (상당수가 어른들의 편의를 위해) 엄마의 뱃속에서 죽임을 당하고 있다. 상당수 시술이 보고가 되지 않는다는 점을 고려할 때 실제 낙태 실태는 매년 150만~200만 건에 이를 것으로 추정된다. 사람들은 언제쯤 이런 것에 대해 분개하게 될까… (참고: ) 추가: 범인의 이름이 밝혀짐에 따라 피해자의 이름을 생략하는 것이 좋겠다고 생각이 들어 글을 고쳤습니다.
요나와 예수님의 차이
요새 우리 교회에서는 요나서가 강해 되고 있다: 요나서 1장 1–3절 강해 요나는 니느웨 사람들이 구원받느니 차라리 자신이 하나님의 나라에서 끊여지길 원하였다. 요나는 밤새워 고민을 했는지, 폭풍을 만난 배에서 잠을 잘 정도였다. 우리의 모습이다; 자신의 욕구 때문에 하나님과의 교통을 내팽겨쳐 버리는 그런 존재다. 그러나 그리스도께서는, 영원히 버림 받고 죽어 마땅한 그런 우리들을 구원하시고자, 우리가 받아 마땅한 저주와 끊겨짐을 대신 받길 다짐하셨다.

Why Samson is a Hero of Faith
As we read the story of Samson in the Book of Judges it is hard not to notice the distresses he went through. At the same time we wonder “How come Samson is mentioned in Hebrews chapter 11 as a hero of faith?” Most of preachers or commentators that I read would give explanation such as “Samson did not give up trusting/believing God till the end.” But that doesn’t seem to be an enough reason to be cited as a hero of faith, considering the overall teachings of the Bible. 외모와 내면의 분리
하나님은 사람의 외모가 아닌 중심을 보신다고 하셨습니다. 육체는 보이지 않는 인격을 담는 형체이기 때문에 그 사람이 누구냐 하는 것은 내면에 담겨 있는 것임이 당연합니다. 그런데 외모 만 놓고 그 사람을 칭송하거나 외모만 탐닉하는 것은 그 사람의 영혼에는 관심이 없다는 것입니다. 그 사람의 육와 영을 분리 시키는 이러한 행위는 살인과 연결 되어 있다는 생각이 듭니다. 관련된 것으로, 음란의 문제가 있습니다. 음욕을 품거나 포르노그라피를 즐기는 것이 이러한 예에 해당합니다.
